Rustam Kasimdzhanov is considered one of the world's top opening experts, working together very successful with world number two Fabiano Caruana. Prior to that he was part of Viswanathan Anand's team when he became World Champion in 2007 and repeatedly defended his title in the following years. Kasimdzhanov was also the opening coach European Champion German national team in 2010.
