Karsten Mueller is a genuis. He is a GM and at the same time holds a PhD in Mathematics. After becoming a grandmaster Karsten decided to become an endgame expert in chess.
But what does being an endgame expert mean? Karsten spends the majority of his time doing research on endgames, writing books, analysing positions with tablebases. Thanks to his background in mathematics, he has the critical approach of trying to find the perfect proof of every position, no matter how complicated.
