There is a lot to choose from this week, but Vincent Keymer's performance at the German championship really stands out. It's not easy to play a tournament where you are expected to win. Keymer not only wins almost every game, he also does so in a very impressive, modern, positional manner.

As our Game of the Week, we've selected his first-round win with Black against Marco Dobrikov. He made the most out of a positional exchange sacrifice in the endgame.

In this opening Black opts for active piece play and is not afraid to fight for the initiative from an early stage. One of the many good features of this opening is that Black is often the side which controls the pace of the game.
