The 6th edition of the Sharjah Masters is a very strong tournament with the whole new generation of top players taking part. At the time of writing, one group of players is leading with 5.5 out of 8 and anything is possible.

In round four, Samuel Sevian played a fine piece of home preparation against Nodirbek Yakubboev's King's Indian. His play was convincing right to the end, which makes it our game of the week.

In this opening Black opts for active piece play and is not afraid to fight for the initiative from an early stage. One of the many good features of this opening is that Black is often the side which controls the pace of the game.
