In round 3 of the Candidates Tournament 2022 Alireza Firouzja had White against Hikaru Nakamura and surprised the American with a dangerous opening novelty. But Nakamura defended well and after finding a series of only moves he escaped into a difficult endgame that he drew with precise play.
