In the first game of the Duda-Adams match, Adams had the white pieces, but Duda easily drew with black. In the second game, Duda won material in the middle game, but then blundered in a level endgame with only seconds left on the clock. However, Adams returned the favour and allowed Duda to take the point and win the match.

In the first game of the Donchenko-Keymer match, Donchenko looked to be doing very well on the black side of a King's Indian Defence, but then he blundered and had to give up two knights for a rook.
