Levy "Gotham Chess" Rozman vs Pia Cramling: Game 3 ends in a draw

10/31/2024 – After a quick draw in game 2, Pia Cramling and Levy Rozman showed fighting spirit and enthusiasm in the third game of their "Battle of Generations" match in Stockholm. In a game that was complex from the start, Rozman managed to find ways to put Cramling under pressure, but the Swedish Grandmaster defended precisely and the entertaining game ended in a draw after 30 moves. Only a draw with White? Levy "Gotham Chess" Rozman seems to have been more than happy with that, as he enthusiastically titled his daily review of the day "YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!".

He had good reason to be happy with his play - after all, in a strategically complex position he found creative and strong moves that put Cramling under pressure. However, the Swedish Grandmaster kept her calm and was able to neutralise the white threats and after 30 moves and an entertaining game the players agreed to a draw.
