Caruana's 7½/9 score, with six wins and no losses, secured him the crown in the chess960 event. Levy "Gotham Chess" Rozman vs Pia Cramling: Game 3 ends in a draw

10/31/2024 – After a quick draw in game 2, Pia Cramling and Levy Rozman showed fighting spirit and enthusiasm in the third game of their "Battle of Generations" match in Stockholm. In a game that was complex from the start, Rozman managed to find ways to put Cramling under pressure, but the Swedish Grandmaster defended precisely and the entertaining game ended in a draw after 30 moves. ARTE: Kasparov – Chess Rebel

10/31/2024 – ARTE Culture, the French-German film production and TV channel, recently made a full six-part dramatic re-enactment of the epic 1997 match between Garry Kasparov and the super-computer Deep Blue. At the same time they broadcast a 50-minute portrait that traces the extraordinary life and career of the global icon. The film contains many historically interviews by personalities from the time. It is well worth watching.

Levy "Gotham Chess" Rozman vs Pia Cramling, Day 2: A (very) short draw

10/30/2024 – Pia Cramling and Levy Rozman needed only 14 moves to find a repetition and to draw the second game of their "Battle of Generations" match in Stockholm. Cramling, who won the first game of the match, now leads 4.5-1.5 - with 3 points at stake in each of the four classic games. Fischer vs. Greece – clock simul 1968

10/30/2024 – In 1968 the Greek Chess Federation, which had organised multiple Olympiads and Zonal tournaments, invited the 25-year-old American grandmaster to play a clock simultaneous exhibition match against five strong Greek players. The historical games played in Athens have been recorded and carefully annotated by Greek grandmaster and trainer Efstratios Grivas.

He is an IM, his current Elo rating is 2347 and his declared goal is to become a Grandmaster. From 28 October to 3 November, he will now compete against Swedish chess Grandmaster Pia Cramling in an audience-attracting exhibition match in Stockholm. The two will play 4 classical games, 6 rapid games and 12 blitz games.
