Lawyer, chess journalist, editor, educator and promoter. As a chess player, Anna won numerous medals at the youth championships, including gold at the Russian Championship among Girls U16, as well as adult tournaments. In 2009, she earned her Woman Grandmaster (WGM) title.
In 2010-11, Anna worked as an editor and reporter for the Russian Chess Federation website. She has also held jobs with FIDE and has had articles published in 64 Chess Review, New In Chess, Schach,ChessBase. In 2013, Anna joined the team at ChessTV (later ChessCast) as an editor and producer of chess programs and live broadcasts, including several World Championship matches, Candidates Tournaments, and other high-end chess events.
In 2018, after moving to Canada, Anna joined the PR department of the International Chess Federation, the job she has proudly held for five years. During this time, she has been FIDE Social Media Manager, Website Editor, and Head of PR.
