After qualifying through the online stage, India's latest IM, 13-year-old Ilamparthi A R arrived at Dusseldorf. He made the most out of his opportunity by winning the WR Chess Juniors Under-14 Boys and Blitz tournament. He also learned from GM Boris Gelfand and GM Elisabeth Paehtz in a mini-camp.
