Martin Huba

Martin Huba graduated at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia. He has worked as an IT expert, marketing and sales person and has extensive experience in strategic planning. He worked as a local representative and city councillor in Prievidza, and he was responsible for the coordination of a Dutch project in Nicaragua. In 1996, he co-founded IBS Slovakia.

Martin Huba has 16 years of experience in programming, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of pre-accession and post-accession projects and programmes in Slovakia and abroad. Until now, he has worked in international teams with experts from more than 20 countries. He has worked as trainer and couch and is the methodological expert for evaluation in IBS Slovakia. Since 2009, he has been the president of the Slovak Chess Union.
