9/28/2023 – For the first time in its history, Wieza Pomot Pegow managed to win the Polish Team Championship. The event was held as a 10-team round-robin tournament in Lublin. Almost all German national players were successfully involved in various teams. 9/11/2022 – From September 2 to 11 the Polish team championship, the "Ekstraliga", takes place in Bydgoszcz. The tournament is a round-robin event with ten teams, and after six rounds VOTUM SA POLONIA WROCLAW leads with 10/12. The best Polish players start in the "Ekstraliga" but also international stars such as Pentala Harikrishna, Nils Grandelius, Vincent Keymer, Lucas Van Foreest, Anton Korobov, David Navara, and others. 9/8/2019 – The Polish Team Championship wrapped up this week with eight-time "Extraliga" champions WASKO Hetman Katowice and its star players GM Radoslaw Wojtaszek, GM Jan-Krzysztof Duda, GM David Navara, GM Bartosz, GM Monika Socko and others winning yet another title.
