Problem: In the access client of Fritz 16 3D initialising now always appears after I previously wanted to set up a 3D board. Playing with it tends to be rather difficult for me and I can only play with a 2D control board in order to avoid 3D. I probably pressed the wrong key. How can I initialise the 2D board and deactivate the 3D board?
Answer: Log on to the server with the Windows access client of Fritz 16. Under the tab for Games you can call up the list of the games in progress. Start to watch a game with a double click.
Under the menu header Board you then choose a 2D view. This should now be adopted permanently – even for your own games.
