Supposing that on playchess.com you are having problems with opponents whose clocks do not synchronise with yours or whose replies are taking a long time to arrive, you can take steps to avoid this with your Windows access client under the tab “Formula”.
The cause of these problems is frequently that one player has or both players have a slow internet connection or that some nodal point in the internet is causing problems.
The best solution is in Formula to tick the filter for “Fast internet only”.
On the server, fast connections are marked with a bright green symbol under the tab for “Internet”. Slow connections are highlighted with either a red symbol or one of another colour.
