Question: I would like to download games of a specific player from playchess.com with ChessBase. Is that possible, and if so how would I go about doing so?
Answer: in addition downloading even works for players who are not online. The function cannot be accessed by right clicking on the player’s name; you have to go via the menu. There you will find the heading "Community" -> "Games of Player".
Now enter the name of the player and confirm your entry with OK. If the player has not blocked the display of his or her games, then up to a maximum of 40 games will be shown in the games list, thus allowing you to play through them.
Be aware that many players have blocked the downloading or display of their games. This information will be conveyed to you in the chat window.
