With ChessBase you can display the lists flexibly.
In practice, you will most frequently wish to carry out a temporary sorting of the games list. Load your games database with a double click. In the games list you can then select among many sort options with a click on the column headings and, for example, carry out a sort according to Players with White.
They are only fixed like this for the on-screen presentation of the list; this does not change the contents and the organisation of the database.
If you wish this sort order to become permanent, choose in the Menu games the function Fix Sort Order.
