More comfort in window handling

Answer

ChessBase 17 and our chess programs are Windows applications. The name of the operating system was chosen because all programs run in their own window and thanks to multitasking several programs can run simultaneously in several windows. In modern applications like ChessBase 17 this principle is continued even further, for example several different board and list windows can be open in parallel.

If you have a lot of windows open when working with ChessBase, you can and should switch between the open ChessBase windows with the key combination (the hotkey) CTRL-F6.

The advantage of this solution in comparison with the Windows Taskmanager is that here you switch only between open windows of the current application, in this example ChessBase 17.

If you use the Windows Taskmanager, all open windows are displayed, this is significantly more cumbersome and annoying than using the hotkey CTRL-F6.
