The program can be operated smoothly and quickly after a familiarization period via ribbons and keyboard shortcuts. Another underestimated component is the quick access toolbar, which allows you to call up frequently used functions directly with a single mouse click.
You can specify whether the toolbar is displayed below the ribbon bar or in the title bar of the program.
Right-clicking on one of the function icons provides the following option:
"Add to Quick Access" allows the user to set up an individual working environment with the frequently used functions.
The quick access bar offers many advantages in the daily work with ChessBase, for example, one can call many faster desired functions, e.g. the board selection or offers on the chess server. Since the functions are arranged according to the frequency of use, the operation is much easier and smoother.
