Find suitable game examples

Answer

With ChessBase and the Mega Database chess trainers or journalists can easily find suitable teaching/training material to illustrate certain chess topics. An especially comfortable and easy to use possibility is available to the ambitious trainer in the extended search mask under the tab "Maneuvers".

It is not absolutely necessary for the user to define the search for maneuvers himself, since he can directly access predefined search queries. From the pool of Mega it should be no problem to find suitable material for any chess-related topic.

Would you like to find game examples for your students on the tactical topic of trigger attack? Click in the search mask under Maneuvers on the entry "Discovered Attack" and confirm with Ok.

Even if you use a huge reference database, the search will proceed quickly and you will find suitable games in the Search Results window that meet the search criterion.

If you click on a game entry, it looks like this, for example:

As you can see in the example, the program immediately loads the key position of the game that matches the given search criterion.

Of course, you can precisely define special search criteria via the maneuvers, but in my estimation the given motifs cover the demands of most chess trainers for creating training material.
