If you select the function " Save as new game " in the file menu, you can save the game notation in a database of your choice.
At this point the program offers a useful extension. A file dialog with the last used databases is displayed, in which one can directly select a database already used for saving.
If the desired database is not listed, a click on the entry "Other" leads to the target. This starts the file selection dialog of Windows and you can use it to navigate to the directory and database where you want to save.
The file dialog offers the column entry " Pinned ".
This allows you to permanently pin databases that are particularly important for your daily work. This means that these databases are always available for saving.
You can perform the pinning by right-clicking on a database entry. Properties will now appear and then the following dialog:
The selected favored databases are now displayed in the list with "Yes". With this procedure you can quickly save to the desired database without tedious detours via the Windows file dialog.
