Question: how can I delete files or games in Chessbase? When I click on delete in a game list then the line with the game entry is just crossed out.
If I click on delete again, then the line is just gone but the game entry is still there. So how can I delete?
Answer: after the game entry is marked as deleted in the database, the entry is displayed inversely. The advantage of the behavior you describe is that you can undo an accidental deletion of a game by clicking Delete again.
After you have marked the lots as deleted, close the list. Select the database with the games marked as deleted in the database window and choose Menu MAINTENANCE - "Remove deleted games".
