ChessBase 17 offers for elementary search queries with the search criteria players, tournaments, openings etc. the new simplified search mask, which covers the frequently occurring search queries of the users.
By the way, you can combine the search criteria entered in the dialog with the more complex settings of the advanced search mask! Here is an example:
You search for the player Magnus Carlsen via Everyone.
The program immediately lists the games of this player. Now, however, you want to perform a more refined search query, for example, all games of Magnus Carlsen from a certain period.
Now click the Advanced button and start the advanced search mask.
The search criterion defined in the simplified search mask is thus taken over and you can refine the search with the numerous options of the extended search mask!
