Transferring database text

If you access existing Word documents for the design of database texts and want to transfer the text from them via the clipboard into the editor for the database texts, unwanted paragraphs are inserted.

The problem results from the typical HTML tags of Microsoft, which are taken over in the new versions, if the text is taken over via the Windows clipboard. This creates this spacing after each paragraph.

Solution: if you save the text as ascii text ( *.txt ), load it and cut&paste it into a database text, no unwanted formatting will be taken over.
