Access via tournament index

Answer

Question: I have recently purchased the program and have the following question: How to display the games of the candidates?

Answer: with ChessBase there are different ways to access this information.Especially easy is to search for tournaments or matches via tournament index. Start the game list of the database by double-clicking on the Mega in the database window. Click on the "Tournaments" button to start the tournament index.

At the bottom left of the screen you will find a small input line.

Above it you can enter a search text.

Even as you type, you will see matching tournament entries appear in the list.

With a click on the tab "Tournament start" you can further sort the displayed tournaments.

With a click on a tournament entry the corresponding game entries of the match are displayed in the right window. In the example you can see the game entries of the match Karpov - Korchnoi from 1974.

A double click on a list entry loads the game into the board window for replay.
