Question: could you please tell me how I can input my moves using the keyboard? I do this with Fritz 18 when I am not on the server. I am disabled so I use my keyboard. Also is this possible using ChessBase 17?
Answer: it is possible to enter the moves alternatively with the keyboard in both program versions, Fritz 18 and ChessBase 17.
You just have to enter the coordinates with the keyboard.
d2d4 or e2e4 for pawn moves.
If you want to move a piece, for example a knight, entering the coordinates is also sufficient.
For example, if you want to move a knight from g1 to f3, the keyboard input is g1f3.
