No display of database text

Question: in my program installation, the texts in the databases (whether old or new 2CBH format) are no longer displayed (e.g. in MegaBase 2023 the 'Introduction). The text window does open, but it is empty. When I click on 'Edit', I see the additional tabs for the other languages, but not the buttons to change the font, etc. The text still remains empty.

Answer: with the current program version/update the problem does not occur.

If the database text is not displayed despite the current update, the important file WebView2 DLL is missing on the affected system. Normally the resource is present by default.

Under "Control Panel => Programs => Programs and Features" it appears as Microsoft Edge WebView-2 Runtime.

If the WebView2 should be entered in the Windows Control Panel as described, a click on "Repair" in the context menu may help. This will cause Windows to download and install the DLL again.
