Edit notations quickly

Answer

ChessBase supports besides the pure game notation a lot of elements which can be integrated into the notation. These can be, for example, time limits for each individual move, which are inserted after each move in the notation when playing on the server. The data format also supports the integration of graphical comments (colored squares or arrows on the chess board), MultiMedia - or correspondence chess comments, training questions, text comments and so on. This possibility applies to the new 2CBH format and the CBH format used in older program versions.

The program offers functions to selectively remove certain comments from a game without deleting desired comments as well? How to delete these elements from the notation without losing the rest of the comments?

The program offers an "eraser" in the menu bar next to the notation, but this simply removes all existing comments in general.

So this radical de-commenting function does not lead to the goal either. However, there is a special "Delete" menu in which the user can specifically specify which elements are to be removed from the notation.

Right-click in the notation - Delete starts the corresponding selection menu.

Using the Delete menu shown in the screenshot, you can selectively remove unwanted comment elements from the notation with a single click.
