Problem: since a few days I have a massive performance problem with the engines under Chessbase. The performance of the standard engine has dropped drastically, the problem occurs with different engines. In the task manager you can see that not even one CPU core is really utilized. I have the impression that this is only since the last update. Do you know this problem?
Answer: This problem occurs when the user has deactivated the option "Intelligent CPU usage". This can be set in the loading dialog for the engines under "Advanced".
The user can set or change the number of CPUs to be used at any time.
