Speech output, sound signals ...

Answer

In the program options the user can flexibly define whether he wants to use acoustic elements,e.g. spoken text, signal tones etc. when using the program. The existing supported elements in the dialog can be combined with each other.

When replaying a game, the software uses audio playback depending on the option selected. In the screenshot you can see one of my preferred settings, which I use when replaying games that are intensively annotated with text. Here the user can concentrate on the game and does not have to constantly look at the notation window to see if there is a text commentary. The text commentary is automatically read out when the user reaches the corresponding game position.

The available options also make work much easier for visually impaired users, who are alerted to fluctuations in the scoring etc. by the acoustic signals!
