Answer: No, you do not need to uninstall CB16. You can run both programs.

You should use both installation programs. The second program installs the search booster for the CBH format.

If you convert Mega Database 2023 to the new 2CBH format and now use CB17 exclusively, you will not need the search booster.

If you do not want to convert, you must use both. "SetupMega2023CB16Searchbooster" installs only the SearchBooster, nothing else.

"SetupMega2023" installs the database.
