How to activate my ChessBase 17 program:

Please log in to your ChessBase 17 program with your user name first.

Then go to: File - Activation - Activate.

Enter the serialnumber of your ChessBase 17 program. Then enter the 4 digit captcha of the green box in the extra field. The program will prompt "the activation was successful. Thank you"

Serialnumber for DVDs you find stated inside the DVD box,

Serialnumber for downloads you find stored within your ChessBase Shop Account - under "My Downloads":

(Note: Deactivation of the ChessBase 17 program is also possible within the CB 17 program, e.g. useful if you change your computer/notebook).


Update the ChessBase 17 program:

ChessBase 17 - login with your ChessBase Account username - File - Activation - Update program.
