Question: I have tried to update the software. Unfortunately, the menu item under menu File - Activate is grayed out; I can't activate either, only deactivate.

Therefore, I downloaded and installed the software again - but without visible success. How can I solve this problem?

Answer: these functions are only available if the user is logged in with his ChessBase account within the program! At the top right of the screen you will find the entry " Login ".

In the following login dialog, log in with the user name of your ChessBase account. If you now switch to the activation menu after logging in, you will notice that these important functions are available!

If the program has been recently installed via download version, you have a current version. The installers within the store account are continuously updated.
