Question: when I replay my games played on the chess server, I would like to see how the time consumption (state of the chess clock) was in between at critical party situations.
I have set the option "Store thinking time" in the options under menu File - Clock and Notation.
However, I can do little with the cryptic information within the notation.
How can I see the time later in an understandable and uncomplicated way?
Answer: Make sure that you have activated the chess clock in the board window of Fritz 18. You can activate the view via the menu item View - Clock.
If you now replay the loaded game and click in the notation in the critical game situation, the chess clock shows the time used by both sides.
This option is only available in Fritz 18 or our other chess programs. The database program ChessBase 16 does not offer a game function, therefore no chess clock is integrated in this version.
