Easy Game Mode - Using Autoplay

Answer

In the "Easy Game" mode of the program there is the option "Autoplay". You can use this function as a beginner/beginner to detect compelling winning leads in a game independently or with the support of the program.

To do this, select the desired level of difficulty (level) in the first step and then simply switch off the chess engine in the next step. Both setting options can be found in the ribbon bar under the menu item Start.

Now enter the desired move sequence (opening) with the chess engine switched off, e.g. King's Gambit with 1.e4 e5 2.f4.

Now activate the chess engine again by placing a check mark behind "Switch off engine".

Click on "Autoplay" and watch how the program continues the game from the given move order.

At some point you will see in the engine window that the chess program "sees" a forced win or that one side is on a win.  Now deactivate the autoplay and either work out the win on your own or let the "Automatic Hints" function help you.
