Let's assume you have studied a certain type of endgame intensively and are now looking for suitable comparison games with a similar type of endgame.
You can find matching games in a flash, starting from the current board position. Click on Menu Report - Similar endgames.
In this way, games with an identical material ratio, a pawn structure as similar as possible, and a piece position as similar as possible are selected from the reference database.
Before the search mask is displayed, the user can refine the search. For example, under game data you could limit the search to a given period.
These games are then sorted by the program according to similarity with the starting position and displayed in a corresponding list:
The program sorts the list according to the similarity and if you click on one of the games, the "critical" position is opened immediately. Here further training options are available, e.g. direct practice via replay training or with a chess engine.
