Printing diagrams

Answer

You would like to print diagrams without coordinates? That is easy to achieve with ChessBase or Fritz. Menu File – Print – Page setup accesses the dialog for Print setup. Deactivate the button for “Coordinates“.  When you print or transfer the diagram to a word processor the coordinates disappear.

If you wish to transfer the diagram without coordinates into a word processing packing not with a fon but as a graphics file, there is also a simple way to do so. In the board window, under Home there is the function “Copy position”.

If under Board design (a right click on the board) the display of the coordinates is deactivated, the diagram will be saved without coordinates as a graphics file in JPG format.  Going via the Windows clipboard copies the position on the board to the clipboard. If, e.g., you wish to load the diagram into Word, choose Paste – Paste special – Bitmap.
