Thinking time in the notation

Answer

All games played on playchess.com are automatically saved in the database “MyInternetGames”. When at a later date you load the games into the board window you will find in the notation window a number after every move.

What do these numbers mean?

The values next to the individual moves stand for the time used for every move. This information is helpful whenever you play through the games from the database at a later date.

If the numbers put you off, then a right click in the notation window will help you.

“Delete – Delete All Commentary”(alternatively you can use the key combination Shift + Ctrl + Y) removes these values from the notation.
