    Wesley So revealed he wasn't feeling well in the first two rounds, but righted the ship in the third round.

    Carlsen had difficulty sleeping after his marathon second-round game. The players of the only decisive game on the day, Grischuk and Nakamura, did not make an appearance after their game went over six and a half hours.
