1.d4 d5 2.c4 e6 3.c3 f6 4.g5 c5 5.cxd5 and rather than taking on d4, Black may consider 5...b6, which leads to the so-called Dutch-Peruvian Gambit:

 

In the previous century, Dutch player Lodewijk Prins and Peruvian master Esteban Canal had some excellent results with Black in this line. But why has it gone out of fashion, or is it perhaps still playable?
