Problem: Recently I started using “ChessBase14”. When doing so I came up against a problem compared to my old version of “ChessBase 10”. Specifically, I would like to change the names of some icons on the starting screen for ChessBase 14. With "ChessBase 10" I could manage this with a right click on the mouse. This does not work with “ChessBase 14”. Can you give me some sort of tip as to how I can rename individual icons in “ChessBase14”.

Solution: Highlight the database icon in the database window.

Right click - > Properties starts the dialog concerning the database properties.

Under Name you can substitute a new name of your choice; this will then be shown permanently in the database window!
