Question: In the course of time I have added a lot of databases to the database window under " My databases ". Is there not the possibility to create a hierarchical data structure in the database window - similar to the one hierarchical data structure with directories and subdirectories? This would make it much easier for me to keep track of my my numerous databases.
Answer: in the database window you can add a directory directly. It makes sense to do this directly under My Databases. This can be done with a right click in a free area of the database window.
A context menu appears with the following options.
Via Add Folder Shortcut the explorer is started and you can go directly to the directory to be included in the database window.
If you have previously created a suitable structure in the directory and saved the databases sorted by topics, this directory view will be adopted directly.
In the right window view, the directory is also displayed.
Double-click to open the directory and see both the root-level databases with database icons and the subdirectories contained in the directory.
