Our first chess set is from our partner Schach Niggemann, who are making loads of chess-related objects since 1985. This silver and blue chess set is made of metallic-coloured wood in a pure and extraordinary design. The weight of this set is 976 grams.

LEGO® Iconic Chess Set

Who didn't love Lego as a child? I for one had 5 drawers full of Legos, which should have been used for clothes normally. I built up cities, football teams, flying fantasy ships, cars and airplanes, but never thought of building up a chess set. Here we have it though. This set includes over 1,400 pieces and the chess board measures over 26 cm.

As you might be able to guess already, we are diving into a luxury product now. Maybe it is, because there might only be 100 copies of this chess set available in the world? Perhaps it is, because it was designed by the Zarpa team in the 70s following the chess games of the great Grandmaster Capablanca? There is one flaw though — No chess board included!

Okay, okay, but now we are moving into the luxury series. This chess set was sculpted out of solid, pure sterling bronze and silver (925). The Armenian artist Tigran Sarkisyan has made numerous, beautiful handcrafted chess sets. In the picture, we see former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan. We know, by now, how much Armenia loves chess.

As promised, all results of the correct prices are set in the link list. There is a chance that the prices slightly change due to various reasons.

Which of the four chess sets is your favourite? Mine is the Lego one for sure!
