Three-time World Blitz champion, and winner in 2015, Alexander Grischuk plays against Bocharov.
Though recorded in high dfinition, the camera was held overhead to watch, so occasional bumping
can cause the slight shakes seen at times.

Tomashevsky - Kasimdzhanov
Both Tomashevsky and Kasimdzhanov arrived at the World Championships with blitz ratings under
2700, but showing their class, they finished near the top with Rustam sporting a 2810 performance
Svidler - Radjabov
Svidler arrived at the World Rapid and Blitz fresh from his fantastic performance at the World Cup, and
showed his form as he finished near the top here as well. Radjabov on the other hand had come in third
in the World Rapid just a couple of days before.
Moiseenko - Mamedyarov

Eljanov - Andreikin
Pavel Eljanov had an absolutely amazing run at the World Cup just before this event, while Dmitry
Andreikin is know for his exceptional rapid and blitz playing skills

Bocharov had a fantastic first day in the World Blitz, scoring 7.5/11 including this final win Anand. It was
not 'luck', he was just playing incredibly well.
Aronian - Anand
It was the final round of the 21-round marathon, played between two greats
