4/16/2009 – For the third time we bring you a "final report" on the Russian Team Championship and Leagues in Dagomys-Sochi, southern Russian. Russian Team Championship and Leagues

The Russian Team Championship took place from 4th–10th April 2009. It consisted of three sections:

  • The Premier League was won by Tomsk, which finished in clear first, two points ahead of the rest. Three teams finished equal second on match points: 9.0/14. The board points decided, and there ShSM-64 was half a point in front of Ural, which iteself was half a point better than Economist.
  • The Higher League saw Polytechnik win by one match point, ahead of Economist-SGSEU-2 and Yugra.
  • The Women's League was won by Spartak, which shared 11 match points with AVS but had one more board point. Economist-SGSEU-1 came third.
