Is Garry Kasparov all washed up?

3.11.2002 - Well, judge for yourself. After a dismal showing in Russia vs The World Garry Kasparov had been written off as a has-been by a number of chess journalists. Now the world's strongest player is punishing them with a 3000+ Elo performance at the Bled Olympiad. Playing on board one for Russia Kasparov has so far scored 4.5 out of five. His colleagues Peter Svidler and Alexander Khalifman are not doing too bad either. You will find statistics and results here.
