GM Dusko Pavasovic, the opponent of Judith Polgar, was not able to make it
to Khanty-Mansiysk in time. Their game (number 32 in the pairings) was not played.

The playing hall in Khanty-Mansiysk – not exactly packed with spectators

The head arbiter has an overview of all the tables and all the games

It's catching on: Ruslan Ponomariov with a anti swine flu mask. It may have
thwarted
the flu viruses, but it didn't help in the game – Ponomariov drew against...

... GM Essam El Gindy of Egypt, rated 246 Elo points below him.

Playing without a mask Vassily Ivanchuk easily won his black game against
GM Alexei Bezgodov of Russia, 255 points below him on the rating scale

Even the arbiters wear masks in these days of pandemic alarms

Alexander Grischuk worked hard on a rook ending with an extra pawn but was
unable
to overcome the defence of Indian IM Jha Sriram rated 233 Elo points below him.

Pavel Eljanov was lucky to get the full point when his 225-point weaker
opponent blundered
