2004 European Youth Chess Championship

Ürgüp (Capadoccia), Turkey

The Turkish Chess Federation is staging the 2004 European Youth Chess Championship, and the 2004 European under-16 and under-18 Chess Championship in Ürgüp (Capadoccia), located in central Turkey (Anatolia), approximately 260 km south-east of Ankara.

The tournament runs from July 28th through August 8th, 2004. It is open to chess federations who can each send one player in the under 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 categories, separate for boys and girls. This means that each federation can send a maximum of ten players to the championship.
