Garry Kasparov returns to the Man-Machine ring with X3D

It has been reported in Newsweek today: Garry Kasparov will play a match in New York in November against a special X3D version of Fritz. ChessBase is teaming up with Kasparov and X3D to create a chess spectacle like none ever seen before. Kasparov will play on a floating X3D board!

ChessBase designers have been working closely with Garry Kasparov and the programmers at X3D to come up with a three-dimensional board that is fit for the world's number one player to use for hours at a time.
