After six rounds of the 4th European Individual Championship there is one leader: Aleksej Aleksandrov. The 30-year-old GM from Belarus has five points from six games and is followed by a pack of 12 "wolves" with 4.5 points each: Dautov, Sakaev, Nisipeanu, Azmaiparashvili, Iordachescu, Agrest, Graf Alexander, Kiril Georgiev, P.H. Nielsen, Malakhov, Najer and McShane.
The only "women" in this section, 13-year-old Kateryna Lahno, defeated GM Romero Holmes and has 2.5 on the score sheet.
