4th European Individual
Chess Championships

May 30th – June 14th 2003 in Silivri, Turkey

After six rounds of the 4th European Individual Championship there is one leader: Aleksej Aleksandrov. The 30-year-old GM from Belarus has five points from six games and is followed by a pack of 12 "wolves" with 4.5 points each: Dautov, Sakaev, Nisipeanu, Azmaiparashvili, Iordachescu, Agrest, Graf Alexander, Kiril Georgiev, P.H. Nielsen, Malakhov, Najer and McShane.

The only "women" in this section, 13-year-old Kateryna Lahno, defeated GM Romero Holmes and has 2.5 on the score sheet.

In the women's section, after four rounds, Alisa Galliamova and Almira Skripchenko are in the lead, both with a perfect 4/4 score. They are followed by Cramling and Stefanova.
