Shredder 7.0 Athlon 1200 MHz is the new leader of the SSDF Rating List! After 547 tournament games it has a rating of 2768! That's eight points above the rating of Deep Fritz 7.0. Compared to it's predecessor Shredder 6.0 Paderborn, Stefan Meyer-Kahlen and Sandro Necchi have managed to increase the rating with 42 points!

After 140 games with Shredder 7.0 UCI K6-2 450 MHz, the rating is 2697, giving it a clear first place on this hardware! That's 82 points above Shredder 6.0 UCI K6-2! (The Paderborn version isn't tested on K6-2.)

Many years ago we started to play with the chess computer Mephisto London 68 030 36 MHz, but we didn't reach the necessary one hundred games. Now more games have been played, and this program written by Richard Lang has a rating of 2216.

Another program from Richard Lang is Chess Genius 1.5 for the handheld computer Palm. One hundred manual games has now been played on Palm m515 42MHz with 16MB RAM. It's rating is 1870, which can be compared with Chess Tiger 14.9 on the same hardware, with 2101.

Next rating list will appear in March or April.
